08-09-09 McMullen to call time on PRIZM and upgrade to Aztec

McMullensMcMullen has been a Zonal customer since 2001 and earlier this year they made a formal commitment to implement Zonal's Aztec Management System across their estate of 84 pubs.

Zonal's project support team has been installing four sites per week and the project will be completed in mid November.  This is an important project for McMullen as they have already upgraded their infrastructure by implementing an IP network to their entire estate, introduced a PCI compliant Chip & PIN payment solution and are already using both Bluetooth wireless and wired Chip & PIN handheld units. 

McMullen's main focus is using payroll for wage percentage control and projections to manage their staffing costs more effectively. This includes clocking staff in and out and monitoring staff performance. They have also installed Zonal’s ‘Dimensions Reporting’ software which enables users to design bespoke reports on any business data. McMullen are also taking advantage of Zonal’s stock control software and are also considering using the automatic ordering solutions.

This project is a natural continuation of the valued partnership McMullen and Zonal have developed over the past 8 years. “McMullen are confident that significant cost reductions will be evident in a short time frame” concludes Matt Beeching.
