Zonal Retail Data Systems, a leading provider of technology solutions to the hospitality and leisure industries in the UK, held its annual Zonal Customer Group (ZCG) at the Woodlands Park Hotel in Cobham, Surrey on Thursday May 21st.
The event, a vital tool for Zonal to connect with its customers, marks the company's 30th anniversary of providing innovative solutions to the UK’s leading hospitality operators.
Up to thirty representatives from companies such as JD Wetherspoon, Greene King, Novus Leisure, Barracuda Group and Ambassador Theatre Group attended a number of presentations and workshop sessions on a variety of business and technology related topics.
This year`s ZCG also included a guest speaker from our partner company Fourth Hospitality. Mark Pitcher, Fourth’s Sales Director, provided his insight into some of the latest trends and best practices on how to achieve efficiencies and further cost reductions in labour management.
The event culminated with an evening reception where attendees had the opportunity to interact in a fun and relaxed environment at nearby Sandown Park Racecourse.
Feedback from the delegates was very positive. Colin Simpson (Group Systems Manager for Fullers Smith & Turner) said: “The working session is an excellent opportunity to share our experiences and come to a consensus on how we would like Zonal to improve and enhance their products and services. Speaking with one voice helps Zonal understand their customers’ key concerns and prioritise their resources accordingly.” “We have seen some real improvements come out of these sessions and look forward to many more in the future”, added Colin.
Martina Baletkova, Director of Sales & Marketing at Zonal, commented "Meeting our customers on a regular basis is very important for us. Our goal is to continue to share our vision with our customers and to solicit direct feedback from them on the trends and challenges they are encountering in their day-to-day operations, so that we continually enhance our products and services to help address their current and future needs."
