30-10-09 Zonal appoint Peter Edwards as new Operations Director

Peter Edwards has been appointed as the new Operations Director at Zonal Retail Data Systems, effective immediately. Reporting directly to Stuart McLean Managing Director, Peter will be responsible for all operations including, Research & Development, Customer Services and Manufacturing.

In this significant role, Peter will be based at Zonal’s Head Quarters in Edinburgh and will be focusing on the continued high levels of customer support and product development.

Commenting on Peter’s appointment, Managing Director Stuart McLean said “I am delighted we managed to secure someone with Peter’s ability and experience. I’m sure he will be a valuable asset to further strengthen our Executive Team.”

A highly successful IT specialist, previously Managing Director of Micros UK, his career in IT has covered sales, development, technical support and customer service. Prior to Micros Peter was Managing Director of RedSky IT and he began his career in the Hospitality Sector in 1998 as Customer Service Director for Innsite Hotel Services.
