22-07-10 Zonal expands product portfolio with acquisition of Freshnet Systems Ltd.

 

Zonal the market leading hospitality EPoS solution provider has added to its already impressive product suite with the acquisition of Freshnet Systems Ltd.

Freshnet is one of the market leading online ordering and purchase-to-pay providers in the U.K. and will considerably enhance the product offering provided by Zonal. In conjunction with the powerful Aztec stock and purchasing applications, the unified product set will be a powerful tool for Zonal’s Restaurant, QSR and Pub customer base.

Zonal’s managing director Stuart Mclean said “This key acquisition will see many benefits in efficiency for our customers with true integration into the already impressive functionality of our Aztec suite of products. The deal includes Freshnet founder Tony Swann heading up the new Zonal e-commerce division which will incorporate the continued development and promotion of Freshnet’s suite of products as standalone applications.
