01-08-11 Glendola Leisure choose Zonal's EPoS solution for its food-orientated theme pubs

Glendola Leisure runs food-orientated theme pubs with venues operating throughout the UK. Glendola Leisure has recently completed the acquisition of the two Former Frankenstein's venues from Saltire Taverns to establish a greater presence in Scotland.

At the end of June, Zonal completed the installation of a complete EPoS solution including the new single screen Kitchen Management System and Handheld EPoS terminals into the Cricketers pub in Cobham Surrey. The Cricketers is a lovely country village pub which has recently undergone extensive refurbishment including adding Zonal's Z509 EPoS terminals to the bar areas and enhancements to the large outside garden area that includes provision for table service via three handheld terminals. The pub's primary focus is on food and this is expected to be the biggest part of the site's business.

Glendola Leisure benefit from a hosted head office system, allowing management to access detailed information about the performance of the estate from any of its sites. Glendola Leisure sites include Joe Daflo's (Southampton), Rainforest Cafe, Waxy O'Connor's and Waxy's Little Sister in London's West End.
