Hall and Woodhouse is an independent family company with more than 250 pubs throughout Southern England. Seeking to maximise the business information available at Head Office, Hall and Woodhouse is investing more than £500,000 in installing new EPoS (electronic point of sale) terminals and hospitality management systems in its new and refurbished managed pubs and bars.
Approximately four EPoS terminals will be installed in each of the 60 Hall and Woodhouse pubs and bars being developed.
The EPoS terminals in all these hospitality venues will feed information to Zonal's Aztec Management System enabling Hall and Woodhouse to monitor employee, site and estate performance, and make the necessary system adjustments to maximise the efficiency of the whole estate.
Hall & Woodhouse Finance Director Martin Scott said: "This is a major investment for the company and we are confident that it will have excellent benefits for the business."
"It is important that our pub managers have the latest EPoS equipment to enable them to run their individual outlets more efficiently. It is also vital that head office management are able to obtain fast and accurate information in order to see the overall state of the business as well as the day-to-day performance of individual sites."
Zonal Managing Director Stuart McLean said "Hall and Woodhouse looked at a number of other EPoS systems and it is very rewarding that ours came out on top. Time and time again our systems have delivered enhanced business performance for hospitality estates. We are delighted to be working with Hall & Woodhouse and look forward to helping them reap the rewards of increased efficiency as this project progresses."
