
The ability to post room-specific sales to Hotel systems is a key feature within the Aztec and PRIZM systems. Posting is carried out in real-time to ensure all sales, no matter how recent, find their way into room accounts that are being checked out.
At PoS validation ensures orders are posted to the correct room or guest name.
The Aztec interface with Hotel partner Ramesys and other leading Hotel management systems, supports 35 configurable divisions. This comprehensive range of divisions can be used to define a larger and more detailed range of posting divisions that can be selected from divisions, categories or sub-categories or a mixture of all three levels. This will enable the Hotel front desk to show a greater level of detail on a guest account.
When a transaction is posted to a hotel room, the sale is broken down into all active hotel divisions and sent to the hotel system. Service charges, if applicable, are allocated to divisions at this point. If charges are not allocated to a division, they are equally apportioned among the relevant hotel divisions.
Our Aztec hotel interface also provides sales data to the Hotel Management system on a near real-time basis, allowing the PMS to manage the business more effectively. All sales information recorded on EPoS terminals is communicated to the Hotel front desk system and all sales and payments are allocated an appropriate posting code to enable the transactions to be interpreted correctly by the PMS.
Any user with the appropriate level of security can define and maintain the posting codes easily within the Aztec system.
Reports are available to display the value of all sales and payments that have been transferred to the PMS, showing all transactions for the time period you specify and includes all postings including sales, payments, gratuities and cashback.
