Milton Park training centre

At Zonal, we believe that training is imperative to ensure all users of Zonal software, get the best out of their system. We have a new training centre in Milton Park and a training suite in Edinburgh, both of which offer comprehensive training facilities that are fully equipped for training any audience. They consist of custom-designed training rooms that have the capability of imitating various customer site configurations and allow training courses to be run in an interactive classroom style environment.

These training facilities enable delegates to learn new functionality and gain knowledge of Zonal products away from any potential day-to-day distractions. They even have chill out areas that are perfect places to take well earned breaks during your training and provide an ideal opportunity to find out about other Zonal services and products.

We understand the importance of good training resources, so supporting the trainers are a team of authors from technological, authoring and teaching backgrounds who ensure that our training resources are accurate and written with the training outcome in mind. The training manuals guide you effortlessly through the courses and can be taken away to refer to during actual installations.

Our trainers have extensive knowledge of the hospitality and leisure industry, and therefore have an understanding of the problems and frustrations that can get in the way of your business success. Each training course is packed full of tips and helpful advice to ensure that you can get the most out of your Aztec system.

We understand the pressures of your business so our trainers can come to your site to minimise the impact on your staff. We appreciate that all staff have busy schedules and that is why we offer a flexible delivery policy whereby any of our two or three day courses can be broken down into individual days to suit your availability.

Training is not a one-off event, we offer upgrade courses to make your staff aware of new releases and courses can be attended as many times as you want - Zonal training will keep your team's skills up-to-date and help them get the most out of product enhancements.

Go-Live Support Forth Street

Even after receiving our extensive training some customers can choose to have further support in the immediate period after their EPoS installation. This is why 'Go-Live Support' is an essential supplement to training, enabling users to obtain expert guidance in how to accomplish tasks.

When Zonal's system is installed at a client site, the primary role for the trainer is to provide support, guidance and expertise in order to increase staff confidence in using their new Zonal system. The trainer provides guidance on end-user queries, delivers any supplementary system training and escalates technical queries to the Zonal Helpcentre. The numbers of trainers required on site and the length of Go-Live support required typically depends on the number of staff and the complexity of the system.

Zonal Training Courses

The product-based courses currently on offer cater for both our PRIZM and Aztec client base, and are made up of a combination of site and head office training.

Zonal now also offer a new range of business skills training courses that include 'Delivering Excellent Customer Service', 'Communicating Effectively' and 'Selling Skills', in addition to courses linked to the hospitality industry such as 'Food Hygiene', 'Drug Awareness' and 'Cellar Management'. With these courses and many more under development we are aspiring to become a 'one stop shop' for all your training needs.
