Play It Green

How Play It Green Supports Hospitality
Climate Positive Hospitality offers diners the ability to rebalance the carbon impact of their meals and gift to a charity of the operator’s choice. Each automatically added (but optionally removable) £1 plants two trees (mangroves and sea kelp) and regifts 10p to charity.
Staff Education
We educate, create behaviour change and establish a sustainable culture amongst staff by sending them a newsletter which includes a sustainability tip, discount on a relating product and other educational articles every Friday
Net Zero Support
Play It Green provides free templates and policies and has a large community of partners that can provide sustainability support and collaborations, such as: Business footprint reporting and reduction plans, Green Energy services, Carbon Literacy Training for Hospitality, Sustainable Wines and much more.
Nature Repair
Every £1 added to a bill repairs the planet by planting two trees (mangroves and sea kelp) which repair ecosystems and help counterbalance the carbon impact of the meals on the bill making the dining experience climate positive. All planting is blockchain protected, transparent and carried out by indigenous peoples.
Social Impact
10% of every tree purchase goes to your selected good cause. Charity partners include the Licensed Trade Charity, Only a Pavement Away and the Tim Bacon Foundation. Climate change causes social issues which need support and this act further increases your positive impact.
