Zonal cruise into second place at the Drinks Trade Regatta
Hungry for the win, seven Zonal employees including CEO Stuart McLean and Sales and Marketing Director Clive Consterdine, stepped aboard their vessel and proudly hoisted their flag for the third year in a row at the annual Drinks Trade Regatta.
The prestigious charity event, which takes place in the Solent over the course of three days, invites brewers and suppliers from the hospitality industry to put their best teams forward to race. Zonal were sailing for the win against customers and friends such as Bed & Bars, Shepherd Neame, St Austell and CPL Training. The event concluded with a gala dinner at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes.
The Zonal team were elated to have sailed in at second place after coming sixth in the 2017 event, enabling them to donate 30% of the donations to their charity of choice, Hope for Children.
Sales and Marketing Director Clive Consterdine said:
“This is a fantastic event that the Zonal team look forward to each year; it was of course made better by the fact that we came second and could proudly walk in the office with our two trophies on the Monday. We are also delighted to be able to donate further funds to Hope for Children, a charity we have worked with for the last 4 years.”
The Zonal team want to especially thank their skipper and skipper mate, Nick and Alex, who with their wealth of knowledge and professionalism led the team to a great victory.
